John graduated from Manchester University in 1997 and joined Hob Hey Dental Centre in 1998 and is currently in his 27th year at the practice!
Having been at the practice for such a long time he has got to know patients very well. John feels it is vital that patients are educated correctly how to care for their teeth and provides up to date evidence based preventative advice. He enjoys diagnosing and treating dental pain and providing root canal treatments and is confident in providing crowns, bridges, veneers, and tooth whitening.
John is a keen learner and frequently attends courses for continuing professional development. He works Monday to Friday and provides a late evening session on a Wednesday evening.
John is married to Vicky and has three boys, Jake, Leo, and Albie, and a dog called Benji. If he has any spare time, he enjoys travelling in his camper van, walking the dog, and skiing; he has also recently completed the Jersey Marathon in under 4 hours. In his spare time he plays bass guitar, acoustic guitar, drums, and piano, and he also used to sing in a band. Having recently passed his Astronomy exam, he has now moved on to the challenges of gardening.

Dr Kocis graduated from University of PJ Safarik in Slovakia in 1998 and remained as both dentist and lecturer of stomatology at the Dental Clinic in their Department of Prosthodontics, where he stayed until 2005, before moving to the UK to continue practising. As Juraj gained more expertise, he developed a special interest in implantology.
In 2007, he expanded his knowledge by attending national and international implantology courses such as Q-Implant and Soft Tissue Management courses. Between then and now, Juraj has placed hundreds of implants and is currently undergoing the Advanced 2-year Implant course at Campbell Academy to push his abilities even further, with a focus on complex cases and digital-guided surgery.
On a personal level, Juraj is married with 3 children and enjoys spending time with his family outdoors, cycling, skiing and a bit of cooking.

Harry qualified from the University of Newcastle in 2018. He has a special interest in orthodontics and minimally invasive dentistry. Harry's meticulous nature suits his orthodontic treatments as he moves teeth into position with the finest detail. With his extensive knowledge and experience, Harry has access to numerous aligner systems meaning that your care is tailored to your specific needs.
Harry can utilise both fixed braces and/or aligners to achieve the smile you desire. He has a particular interest in the challenge of paediatric orthodontics, with a focus on the early intervention to minimize the need for extensive future treatment.
He is a friendly and highly regarded clinician so you can be confident that you are in the best hands. Harry's hobbies include football, playing guitar, and going for walks with his dog Luna.

Julie has worked in both NHS and private practices, and has also worked at Newchurch Hospital treating patients with learning difficulties. This was both challenging and rewarding for her.
Julie has been at Hob Hey since 1989 and thoroughly enjoys her job. She has got to know over a number of great patients over the years. She enjoys continuing her professional development and finds herself on more and more courses.
Julie lives locally with her husband Jim and two grown up children. Julie still enjoys doing things as a family, especially walking her much loved cocker spaniel Jasmine. She also loves reading and has recently attended a French course at night school.

Rosie qualified from Edinburgh School of Dental Hygiene in 1990. Her first job was in Guernsey before she returned to her native Northern Ireland. There she became secretary and council representative for BSDHT whilst working in a private practice.
In 2000 she married Michael and moved to England. working in Hampshire and Buckinghamshire before moving to the North West.
Rosie has two daughters, Katie and Daniella.
She is also a Tropic Skincare Ambassador in her spare time.
